crushes heaven - 2024

This painting was inspired by a sketch I had done at the bar one evening and conversation among friends about mixing colors and statistics. I do not typically use true black in my work, but in this piece I chose to make it the focal point. I experimented with both methods of creating the illusion of depth and the range of color needed to create a deep rich black. I also enjoy painting floating jellyfish.
